if you thought you were good at Super Mario bros, you MUST watch this. I know it sounds like 11 minutes is long, but it will blow you away to see this video, I promise. I've rewatched it like 5 times, and it only gets more impressivehttp://media.ebaumsworld.com/i...3.wmvJust click on the link, then click where it says "click here to start download" It shows it from the web, it doesn't actually download the whole movie
This is why slow-motion mode in emulators are so handy. Of course, if this guy did this in normal speed, I will bow down like everyone else is. Still, an amazing feet, nonetheless.
In my boredom with the board as dead as it is lately...I've just been surfing this forum and came back across this and finally watched it...I just have one question: Where did the 2nd warp whistle come from? He only got one, and then all of a sudden when it came time to warp, he had two.But damn, this thing is making me as nervous watching as I would be playing!I didn't know the fireballs worked on the castle bosses... *stores away for future reference*
I've done a little bit of research into it too, though, and apparently it's a known fake now...he played it at about 1/30th speed in an emulator and spliced together his best times for each level. I did learn some things watching it though, like that way to get extra lives by killing lots of things very quickly...
Here's something that tells you it has been spliced together...where did he get the star from that he used in world 8? Also in the first world, it looks like he had a cheat activated. The 'infinite jump' code. It allows you to jump off mid-air.
He gets the star from the first level in world 8 when he beats the mini boss... try watching it again, and you'll see he does it in the first sub level of world 8.Also, I can't see any part in the first world that he jumps in mid air. He often bounces off enemies, but thats the closest he gets. Maybe you could be more specific?I'm not sayin it's not fake, just maybe watch it one more time
