Chrome/Plastic Interior

Post by chrisblues »

Anybody have any suggestions on what to use to clean the chrome/plastic pieces (gauge rings, shifter button, etc.) in the interior?

Trim Shine By Stoner, it has a nice clean look afterwards, unlike the nasty sticky/greasy look.

Invisible Glass and a very soft cloth has always done the job for me.

I use Armor All interior cleaner (not protectant) wipes...just careful if you HAVE used protectant that you wipe off the clear plastic on the gauges first, not after you've done anything that even *might* have protectant residue still on it, even from several months ago. Or you'll end up with foggy gauges like I did.

I've always used window cleaner for this, too. For the gauge lenses, I'd suggest using a lens cloth (like for eyeglasses). They scratch easily.
