Huge Interior Additions!

Post by Psychobroker »

ok, not really But I think they're really cool new leather e-brake cover (for Hope's viewing pleasure after reading the Wheelskins thread):Another shot:The fittment on this cover is superb, although the first time around was tedious to install properly. Tight stitching w/ hidden excess is the main thing to make sure it looks OEM and clean. I just ordered a wheelskin Euro perforated two-tone that should match very well, and will be changing my interior scheme a bit this weekend.I then replaced the stock M&T Amp with a 4-channel Audiobahn A6004T @ 75w RMS per channel. My only problem is an annoying engine noise problem that sounds like a bad ground to me, but my installer claims it's a problem with the amp (doubt it!). I plan on getting a 2nd opinion sometime soon. Other than the low-volume engine noise, it sounds clean and crisp...very good compliment for the db6750's IMHO. It also fits snugly under the passenger seat:Another shot:And finally, my favorite There will be no smoking in my Vibe whatsoever! Plus, it has a blue LED, just like the 6004T, that looks great at night .

thanks, christian. i was wanting to see what that leather ebrake cover looked like. so it fits pretty nicely then? looks pretty good, but i'm on hold for any new mods for the vibe right now. got lotsa trips and more important things to spend my money on right now. unfortunately, that also includes my emergency room/surgery bills from this week. but it looks great! i especially like that no smoking lighter!

Bro it looks good! I was thinking about getting that and the steering wheel cover as well. Did you get them from a shop on Ebay? I remember a seller pushing that, they also had a website that I cannot remember.I like

Thanks! Although it's just a lighter replacement...it'd be kind of ironic to make it a no-smoking lighter But yes, the cover fits nicely, and feels a lot better than stock Thanks Sam! I did buy the cover from an eBay seller; here's a link to the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT$19 might be a little pricey I guess, but I really like the fit & feel. Plus, it IS genuine leather.

oh, ya... why i've been a bit cranky online lately. sorry guys. went in on monday to the ER w/ sharp pains in my lower abdomen. they sent me home after some very unpleasant testing and catscans. came back on tuesday for more testing and they figured it to be a ruptured ovarian cyst and the start of an appendicitis. so i had a laproscopic appendectomy on tues afternoon. loaded up on pain pills that made me quite loopy. but feeling much more like myself today. moved to IB Profen today to help w/ the soreness and pain. but where did you get that lighter cover? wouldn't mind getting something like that for the vibe.

I forget, you have an aftermarket radio, right? I've never experienced engine whine on an audiobahn amp, especially with an aftermarket radio.. If your ground is good, maybe your RCA routing, or the cables themselves are suspect. High-grade cables do make the difference!

Very cool in red And thanks for the insight, Moondog. A set of quality filters fixed the problem, but my audio shop insists that it's the amp's design that caused the noise. All I know is that it works fine now, and I'm happy with it
