Should I leave the Vibe?

Post by 03autovibe »

I love my Vibe, I really do, but there are some problems. For example, I like rear wheel drive and manual transmissions but I have front wheel drive with automatic. I'm considering buying a cheap Nissan 240SX. Unfortunately, I don't have the resources to do the inevitable engine swap at this time, but I still think it would be a fun little car. What's your take on all of this?

I think the Vibe is a great car, but nobody expects it to be everything to everybody. We all have different priorities and preferences, and if you'll be happier with another vehicle, and have the resources to get what you want, then go for it.

That's weird. My boss swapped his 240sx for the Vibe! lol.

240sx is cheap. Pick it up as a second, fun, project car, not as a replacement.I guess if the practicality of the vibe (4 doors, lots of cargo room) isn't what you bought it for, then for all means go for a 2 door hatchback.
