to answer your question, h.tech is a lower drop...not sure the actual specs on it, tein's site is pretty cruddy and hard to navigate...my understanding is s.tech gives you better handling and control then h.tech...it's more balanced between performance and style, whereas h.tech is more style...

They are well known and respected worldwide. They also give a lower drop than Hotchkis. To me if you are going to drop the car for handling and appearance, lower is better. I've one of those people that are kinda (removed) about blowing a strut since it's happened to my brother's 98 Sentra. It sucked. It happened to drummerdude as well. That's why I'm gonna invest in the TRD coilover kit.Inder

I have the H. Tech springs on my TL, they are great, good handling and not too low (I have to pack the wife and kid in, well that was until we got the Vibe). Overall a great buy. They are supposedly a better spring material (new type of material, I forgot the name), so probably why the price increase, I thought the same thing. Not too familiar with the Vibe yet to let you know about what TRD4reel is talking about, but my TL has 35K miles on the H. Techs and the struts are fine, so not sure if the Vibe Struts are the same way with all springs or not? Someone else have any input?
