Drivers side headlight bulb

Post by simon »

Have any of you had to change the bulb in your headlights yet?The passenger side is relatively easy but to get at the drivers side in my '03 base vibe I had to disconnect the battery and move it to be able to get it in! That doesn't seem like a well thought out design.

You can get to it without taking out the battery, but it is a real pain! It's a tight fit, but I did it.

It's a pain, but doable if you've got tiny hands... I'm lucky in that regard, swapped out several bulbs without having to yank the battery. It's a bit tricky, so if it's giving you trouble, I'd say yank the battery. Doesn't take long to do...Last time I had a bulb burn out on that side, on the way to the dealer for an oil change... I just bought another bulb and made the dealer put one in.
