Yeah, but it was the easiest place to put it. I didn't know it would be until after I got it installed, but it is fine for now. Kind of a pain when changing stations or using the remote when driving.

I used to have my SkyFi mounted next to the tranny, on a bracket that aimed it towards the driver...I bought a swivel attachment for it so the angle and direction were adjustable.I don't use this anymore, so if you're interested in buying it, drop me a line...

YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
Actually, that picture is kinda deceiving...that was the intial install, once I got it cleaned up, no wires were visible...Here's a better shot after I hardwired it and all...

Right, I figured that, I just mean right now I can't see mine hardly at all. What would you like for it? Is it a post that sticks to the dash with a rotating head?

very very nice damron.......love that tint. How much % tint is that and what did it set you back? That's about the % I'm interested in getting for my 05. Very nice lookin wheels too....
Not even sure about the tint. I got it done in Tijuana for $50 all around! Wife spoke to them since she is Mexican and just told them dark in the back, lighter in the front! Personally I wanted dark all around, but she was doing the talking and the paying, so I had to get what I could! Thanks!

Just wish I didn't have to go down there to get those prices! I hate being in that place, and especially driving down there! People will hit you and drive off laughing and there is nothing you can do about it. If you go to the police they will probably arrest you! As my wife says, if you look like your from the US, they automatically think you are rich and they will hold you until they get everything they can from you! HAd a guy here on base even get held and told to take them to the ATM so they could get all of his money from the bank. He refused and ended up getting released (with no clothes mind you!) later on.

D,Dude, that is a kickin' ride. Really. What kind of wheels are they? And those pedals are just wicked looking. Do your feet slip off if your shoes are wet?

looks really nice, some tint and some colour can make all the difference. I still laugh at the before and after shots of my Vibe.Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys! I tried installing one of the vent overlays, but I don't think I'm talented enough to get those on! Got one done but it wouldn't stay stuck and wasn't lined up right. I'm not sure I liked how they looked either. I liked how the pics of others looked, but I didn't like how mine looked after I got the one on. BTW, the rims are 19" Axis Spiders that I got thanks to ballrub! I might switch them out though, as ballrub knows, they don't stay together so well. The gunmetal is breaking off and leaving big spots of discoloration. Looking at some on ebay, but they are narrower than the ones I have and I like them to be as wide as possible. We'll see. Thanks again guys!Oh, and Christian, too! Oh yeah, and I was worried about that slipping problem with the pedals too when I got them, but I don't seem to have any problems with them.
