Pontiac vibe nose cover

I just see this on ebay:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...50457I wonder if this can protect the paint,when some driver hit the front end with there car.Or,other than that wath will be the use?

I don't know about protection against damage from car-to-car contact, but those will protect the front end from rock chips, bugs, etc.

ya but it looks like crap....and fine dirt gets under it and will scratch the paint,and will also give u non fade marks if u use it to much....and moisture will stay up under it too........i know because i saw what it did to my buddies 94 z28.not very nice at all.

I had one on my 97 grand am GT. It destroyed the paint. Unless you take it off and wash it and your car every 2 weeks or so dirt, dust, leaves, sticks, bugs & etc build up and discolor your paint and scratch it all to hell. If your religious about cleaning it out avery week or so then they work great to prevent chips or hide dent's etc...
