Air Intake Vacuum Line

Post by BlueCrush »

What does the vacuum line that connects to the air intake do? Is it the oil-breather tube that allows heated oil fumes to escape from the engine crankcase and feeds those gasses into the intake for combustion with air and fuel?

no, it goes to the purge solenoid:the purge solenoid controls (per the PCM) the application of manifold vacuum to purge the EVAP system.
