i don't see the point....4 cylinders, 2 pipes = very little back pressure....not enough to scavage correctly anyway....Toyota's Need SOME backpressure to run well, IMBR

RKSport DID have a dual exhaust on their SEMA car, but I have no idea if they ever intended on marketing it. It looked custom with dual fart cannons.EDIT: pics:Not my thing with the dual fc's

I laugh everytime I see a Neon with them (IIRC, the SRT-4's come with "dual" exhaust)

I haven't seen anyone making the dual exhaust for the Vibe as of yet. You would have to have the duel notches for the tails anyway. I think a custom exhaust would be nice though. I can't stand the sound of those fart cannons. They just remind me of all noise and no go! Around here they are way to popular with the younger crowd. I think that you should visit your local exhaust shops. Be involved in what you want and make it custom to what you like. Magnaflow makes a great after market catback in stainless steel for around 330 shipped. Do a search for magnaflow and I think you will see many of the guys/girls using that one and they are very happy with it. I personally have stock, but I'm leaning toward the Magnaflow group buy. Rob
Dual exhaust= two seperate pipes from seperate exhaust manifolds (or header) all the way to the exhaust tip.Dual outlets=any type of exhaust that have dual outlets, such as the Dodge Neon.I think most people here are confusing the two. The only four cylinder engines I have ever seen with true dual exhaust are in motorcycles. There could be a header system that uses two headers on a four cylinder, much like the headers for my inline six in my old jeep, but I have never come across one.

split exhaust...... I believe the people know that the Vibe will never have true dual unless someone is willing to cut and weld another header, which I've actually thought about, and conceive the split as dual. It's the look they're after.

i like the way the dual looks on all cars. but the sound im looking for (NOT THE FART CANNONS) but the sound the old musle cars sounded. i.e. 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge.
You're probably never going to get that sound out of a 1.8L I4 since the engines are so different from a like 5L V6. From what I have heard though, the flowmasters and the mufflers they sell at Midas (I think I can't remember where my friend got his muffler). They make the exhaust note sound more gruff and raspy like a muscle car
