I'm also new to the group. I inherited my Vibe from my wife, who whined about wanting the new G6 I bought for myself. It's ok, though, part of the deal was me getting to modify my new (to me) Vibe. I've put in a JL Audio system running off a Premier head unit, and I've put on a nice set American Racing wheels with Firestones. The car looks good (pics to follow in a week or so), but now I want to add performance. I've been reading about new air intake systems, and I've also read that GM performance division has an available supercharger for the base Vibe. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Are the aftermarket air intakes difficult to install? And I think I got the better deal...the G6 isn't that great.
Welcome aboard, to the friendliest darn Vibe site you'll find. Glad to have ya!If your Vibe is an automatic, front wheel drive '03 or '04 the S/C is definitely doable. Feel free to visit the Forced Induction forum for previous experiences with all things super or even turbocharged. And plenty of folks around ith cold air intakes and the like, so you should be able to get some good advice on that as well. Wish I could offer advice on performance, but I haven't done a single thing to squeeze more power out of my '03 base/auto. Hope you're enjoying your Vibe! From the avatar you selected, you've got a Neptune? If so, great choice, but I'm partial of course. Welcome again, and enjoy your stay!

Welcome to the Encyclopedia of Vibe!IMHO you got the better deal, because you get to mod the Vibe. LOL Injen and Magnaflow are two popular cold-air-intake and cat-back exhaust systems, respectively, but there are quite a few choices out there.
