gauge pod question

Post by kingvibe »

Has anyone found the gauge pods for the a pillar with 2 gauge openings? Or has someone started producing them for the Matrix?

I think someone said the universal pods at Pep boys worked fairly well after some work with a heatgun... I don't think anyone makes a replacement a-pillar with the empty pods already in it though

Lotek will make them but the minimum order is 30 pieces. Maybe you could get a group buy going.http://www.gaugepods.com

They don't make them for Vibe I've already looked EVERYWHERE. Kevin (Freestyle) made his own out of Mustang pods and molded them to the a-pillar cladding. He painted them to match the pillar and it looks perfect. I think there's a pic of it in the Michigan rally gallery. I want a Voltmeter (my battery is drained because of neons and system), and I also want a air/fuel mixture, and a water temp. gauge. I am going to make a custom three-cylinder aluminum bracket in shop to attatch under my steerging wheel or somewhere clever

I saw one on ebay that said it was for the Vibe specifically. Might want to check it out if you are interested. You can ask them at least and see if it is true or not.

the one on ebay is a triple pod. full pillar replacement.its listed primarily under matrix.but might turn up in a vibe search. if you dont see it wait a while it usually comes back, like he makes them one at a time or something.
