New guy

Post by gundabad »

Hi. I'm a new guy here. So new I only have the pic I just took in the garage. I own a 2005, Fusion, Moons & Tunes, Vibe. I came here originally looking for a part number for the air deflector on the outside of the lift gate. I located it elsewhere, but found a treasure trove of information here. If anyone knows exactly what GM or Pontiac website I can find a Fusion air deflector, please let me know......I 'll probably be on here reading all of your past posts. Also, I'm in the Phoenix, Arizona area if anybody else is.

you talking about the spoiler for the lift gate? top or mid? check out http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=9923 for part numbers. you can get both or seporate. Fusion would probably need to be ordered primed and you would have to get it painted. At least thats how it was when I looked into ordering the mid one for mine.Sweet fusion Vibe same as mine though mine is an 04.Welcome to genvibe.

No. I'm actually talking about the piece that the spoiler rests on. I got an after market bike rack because I didn't want to try to put a bike on the roof and risk scratched paint, etc. The support to the rack put an almost unnoticeable crease in the air deflector. I know it's there, though, and would like to replace it. The part # is 88970920. I've found it unpainted for about $134.95 U.S., but was hoping that G.M. sold it already painted, as they do the spoilers.

am not aware that gm makes any of their parts prepainted, especially in fusion. try gmpartsdirect or look on ebay. you never know if there's a salvage vehicle. good luck.and i love the newer headlights and monotone mirrors... too bad the 03/04's didn't have that.

The basket is actually OEM, although it did spend some time on my daughters scooter. I'll pass on the compliment!
