Need advice on XM receivers. Too many choices!

Here's the deal. I'm still debating between Sirius and XM, but I already know which Sirius receiver I like. The XM site doesn't provide enough "gadgetry" information for their receivers, so I'm having some problems deciding. Here are a few of my questions:Is the Commander backlit, or are we talking Classic Game Boy? And why does it cost more than the other kits?With the Skyfi2, can you change the background like the Roadie2(a cheaper model), or are you stuck with the pale blue?Is there any way to make the Sirius receiver work for XM? Sorry, but I really like the JVC PDA-style. Any other advice you'd like to give on the subject would be more than welcome. I'm not in a position to buy right now... I just like to be prepared! ~ Z600

I just like to be prepared! ~ Z600I had the Commander until yesterday in my Vibe but took it out b/c the Alpine HU I got runs the XM through it. I don't need it anymore. It is backlit with a grayish/white background. Why it costs more I don't know. Mine ran through the FM station 87.9 with a FM modulator. They replaced that with an Alpine XM box so it runs straight through the stereo now.

Commander is backlit.SkiFi 2 is blue on white, no color changes.Sirius and XM hardware do not work with each other.The commander is more expensive than the Roady. Less expensive than the SkiFi2 when you add the cost of car kits. You'd be better off looking at the MiFi, or the other xm2go units when they come out in a few months. At least for that look. They're considerably more expensive.Edit:Sorry if that seemed clipped.. I was at work and just passing by the forums real quick. But..that's generally it. XM, for some reason, has decided to keep the amount of manufacturers for it's hardware small, even after it initially had more manufacturers..

(Roady2 has built in FM Modulator, Roady2 is Thinner and lighter than original Roady, also the Roady2 housing 'fits' the Vibe's interior styling better)Commander is Backlight white on black, very thin install (I couldn't find a place to put it in the Vibe where I could read it easily)In the end I picked the SkyFi2, because I have home kits, and a boombox adapter, it just made more sense for me, but if I didn't have the other adapters already, I'd go with the Roady2. IMHO.
