Not sure you want to go the replacement route, here is why... The other day I went the the dlr to get 2 retainers for one of my cars, they were 1/2" X 1/2" plastic clips, GM calls retainers. They were $5.33 each. Yesterday I went the the GM dlr again for two interior trim 10mm nuts with attached washers I needed. Two different hardware stores did not have them and I doubted the dlr. The dr could get them at almost $5 a piece. Kind of knowing the parts guy a little, he asked a tech who had a couple in his parts bin and gave them to me.If I were you I would either clean them with oil or clean and paint with flat black paint.
Ouch! That's pretty expensive... I knocked one of the rubber stops off the rear driver's side door one time, and went to the dealer to see about buying one. Told the parts guy, "I'll just take two, since I usually knock one off when drying to inside of the doors off" and he looked the part up... "You may not want two, these things are $15 a piece." Needless to say, I let warranty take care of the missing part, I thought I'd pay for the stuff myself and be a nice guy about it, but not for that price. lol!Amazing the prices the dealer charges for this stuff. I did luck out at a Toyota dealer, I needed a couple of the 10mm bolts that hold on the inner fender... Got two for $2.63 after tax or something like that. Still expensive for what I got, but probably would have been much worse buying from the GM dealer.

And they always say that buying foreign car parts is more expensive. Go figure. For prices like that, allow me to make this suggestion. Buy a fine wire wheel that is meant to fit in an electric drill chuck and clean them with the wire wheel and some WD40.Some swear that soaking them in Coca-Cola for a few days will eat away all the rust too, but I can't say that it will work from first-hand knowledge.

I suppose there are $200,000 worth of parts in a typical $20,000 car.

its just a bunch of hoseclamps and some nutsi can get that stuff at lowesi just want to save time instead of measuring themreason i want to replace...is cause 1 its unsightly, 2 its going to be a ***** to get them loosemabye not, im used to bolts that require more torqe than our engines put out to break loosekinda funny if you think about it
lol, you know I never thought of it that way, but that is true about the torque!
