We have the AWD with single disk CD player & moon & tunes.I can not see the radio or clock numbers on the radio when driving in the daylight. Even with the sunroof shade closed.I noticed that when I turn up the interior dash light switch to high, the dash lights up on high power, but not the radio. It will change intensity up to a bright level, but not the daytime superbright level like the dash lights.Are they all like this, or is mine broke?

Mine does the same thing basically. If there is any type of light shining directly on the radio display, it is completely unreadable.Kind of a wierd design if you think about it... because sometimes if you are driving on a long stretch of road going the same direction and the sun is shining on the display, you have to hold your hand over it to see the display.I could be wrong but I dont believe there is anything, unfortunately, that can be done to remedy the problem without replacing the whole unit with aftermarket... just for the display.
