Starter problem?

Well as some of you know by now I just recently bought an '03 VibeGT. Only has 16,500 miles on it and runs like a dream. There is one thing I have noticed though. It will take about 3 seconds to start once I turn the key. On other vehicles I have owned, most have started up almost instantly (all with much higher mileage). Is this normal for the Vibe? The thought of the starter going crossed my mind, but then again the vibe only has 16,500 miles on it.*Could an admin please place this in the appropriate forum section...Sorry, I didn't notice the section for problems with your vehicle

Yes, this is normal.Toyota designs their engines to intentionally turn over several times before actually engaging...
