Just purchased FIAMM air horns and was looking at the wiring diagram. On the relay the original horn wire hooks to Terminal 85. Terminal 87 goes to the compressor, (I have two 87 terminals, don't know why). The compressor is also grounded. Terminals 86 and 30 are fused and go straight to the battery? I am asking mainly about the second 87 terminal and the 30 terminal because the 30 terminal wire does not show touching the 30 terminal however it is split and also feeds the 86 terminal. Any help is appreciated.

Relays have five terminals, but there're generally two types of relays. One type will have:8586308787The other will have:85863087a87You have the former type, which basically means it has two outputs. The latter type has a normally closed (87a) and a normally open (87).In your case, the wiring diagram is exactly correct. 30 and 86 can get wired together, and then wired to the positive on the battery. I'd reccomend putting in a fuse if you're going directly to the battery. How big a fuse depends on the amperage the compressor needs. The old horn wire goes to 85. And the compressor hooks to one of the 87's. Probably the one furthest away from 30. The other 87 (which should be in the center) can just be ignored, though it's probably safer to put an empty connector, or some electrical tape on it.
