Welcome and congrats on your '08! the factory crossbars were standard up to, I think, 2005. I'm assuming the carrier you're talking about is from the dealer and will fit on the GM (Thule) crossbars -- but I'd say the bars are probably sold seperately

My 2008 Vibe came with Luggage Rails on roof but no crossmembers. Is there anyone that has a set of crossmembers that will fit this car who wants to sell theirs?
I think you'd be better off going with the after-market clamp-on Thule style cross bars...When i first got my '06, I wanted the stock bars, but then I saw what it entails to put those suckers on, and I wouldn;t ever want them off after that! With the clamp-ons, you can put them on and take them off as needed with no mods to the car itself.I would look into the instructions for putting on the stocks before you spend $$!!
