I installed the new Hyper Ground and Voltage System from Sun Automobile. I took a about 2 hours to get the different length wires into the best locations and mount & install the voltage system. I started up the Vibe and noticed that there was no power loss at all with all accessories running.(even tried the A/C). There was no drop in RPM at all. So it passed the first test of what it claims to do by decreasing electrical resistance and a constant flow of voltage thruout the entire vehicle. The second test of delivering more torque, horsepower and acceleration also passed. After I installed the Cosmo Short Ram Intake 2 weeks ago, I had more power but it did seem to lag a bit when putting the pedal to the metal. Now, I feel more pull when accelerating than before. And, it should get even better after the manufacturer specified ECU tune-in time of one month. All I need is the Unichip and I'll be a happy camper. Anybody want to get rid of their's?

The Hyper Ground System was $128. Get one of the ones with the gold plated connectors for the best conductivity. The Hyper Voltage System was $225. Again gold plated cable connectors provide the best improvement in gains.I came with suggested locations for hooking up the cables which a universal for all cars. So, nothing specific for the Vibe. That is why it took so long. Trial and error as to which length cables go in the best locations. As for the Grounding System, I went from the bulkhead (Firewall) to left side body frame to cylinder cover to transmission to negative battery terminal to right side body frame. For the Voltage System it goes to both positive and negative battery terminals and then an additional grounding wire that reaches towards the alternator. It was a little spendy but I'm happy with it. Similar in cost to CAI or Cat-Back with similar increase in HP gains.I ordered it from Sigma Automotive at:http://www.sigmaauto.com/

Blue Crush, this mod you installed, the Voltage system sounds pretty neat & I'd like to get it for my car, but, honestly does it really give you that extra power that you think it does or would you chalk this one up to the placebo effect? Of course you can't trust the manufacturer, they always promise the sky...What do other genvibers think?thanks!Roader

I've heard mixed things about these grounding systems. I generally find that people who have them say they "feel" a difference (possibly placebo effect as you noted), but I have yet to see anyone post anything that can actually proove any power gains.I also wonder if these things would affect airbag performance. The airbags are very sensitive and their deployment is based on calculations that include allowing time for the electrical resistance in the car's system. If you go changing that resistance, I would assume that it would affect the airbags. But I don't know if the airbag system is totally separate from the rest of the electrical system or not.

Well, I added in extra grounding cables (not a kit, but a bunch of 4 guage wire) to try to help with dimming issues because of my subs. I found that it did help a bit. I don't know about the car's overall performance, because it's probably slim. The hyper voltage system is different though, and I have to wonder if that definitely has benefits or not.

Well, since I installed it I have noticed it does start sooner 2-3 cranks instead of 4-5 cranks of the engine. I have noticed that the shifting is smoother. I have noticed an increase in acceleration which should get even better after the manufacturer's tune-in period of one month. I will post my results after the one month is up.

Okay, forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I've never heard of these systems before. Exactly how is increasing voltage/reducing resistance supposed to affect your HP? I'm more old-school when it comes to vehicles... I understand air and fuel stuff, but the electronics are a bit over my head. How can that affect the actual power of your engine, the physical turning of the mechanical components? ~ Z600
