First AWD sighted

I stopped at RadioShack today for something. When I came out there was a lava Vibe parked next to mine way int he back of the lot. It had tint on the rear windows, and some kind of platform coming frmot he trailor hitch like it maybe carries an electric wheelchair. I thought to myself...hmm normally older people are not interested in us "young hooligans" and our car clubs, but then I looked and saw it was an AWD and also remembered the tint, plus it was parked next to mine way in the back away from all the other cars. I went and got a Genvibe flyer from my car and stuck it on the window Hopefully we have a new member soon.

I hit up a 2-tone Vibe with tint, spoilers, and chrome 17-18" rims like last week and haven't heard anything yet. He was parked on base at the NEX and I saw a guy eyeballing me as I was driving through the lot to find a parking spot. He looked Cuban or Puerto-Rican and then I saw in the front window he had a flag from one of those countries (forgot which it was).

A while back I was driving in downtown Phoenix, and came across another Fusion Vibe. It was driven by an older couple who got really excited when we ended up next to each other at a red light. The lady gave me two thumbs up , waved and smiled until I made my turn. Kinda cool to see all kinds of people drivin' a Vibe.

Yes, I hope the Vibe wave will stay because it would be really $hitty if it became like the WRX drivers. My friend said that when he got his car, everyone was giving him like smiles and thumbs up. Then when that car got really popular, that's when no one cared anymore.Inder

I agree...whenever I see another Vibe I wave and smile. Most of the time I get back a smile, but once-in-a-while the driver goes crazy waving and laughing. It's great.

HAHA. When Inder stopped by the other day we were washin our cars at the quarter car wash and some dude in an Aztec was starin us down, and then when he was done washing he drove by us again while we were drying off, and he said "Yeah man, Pontiac power!" and then gave us thumbs up and took off. It was pretty sweet! lol. Makes me feel good when people notice our cars.

Yeah. yesterday I was coming out Yazaki (my brother's friend works there, had to go meet up for lunch) and this guy in a Focus comes up next to me. Just starts looking at my car. I guess he noticed it when I took off kinda fast from the parking lot. So, anyways, the light turns green and I take the car to about 4500 rpms . He's about to my tail light right now. And at the next light, he looks at me shakes his fist and yells "hell yeah". This was in the rich part of town as well. Man, I love this exhaust. I think that's what mainly got his attention.

A girl at my school had an avalanche but now she's got a Fusion '05 Vibe with tint. It's awsome looking. I walked by it yesterday and realized it was also an AWD! What are the odds lol.
