That stinks! But take comfort in the fact that you're not the first here who has been in that situation. Knock on wood, I haven't had that happen. But I do have a crack in one of my headlights, never got around to getting anything done about it.

look to spend about $100 I think that's what it cost me when one of mine broke due to a stone that kicked up by some kids. IT sucks but it's easy to replace.later

You know, that mappened to me too on the drivers side. 'Cept mine was just a little hole popped out of the front glass. I just rigged it up to work by removing it and allowing the built-up moisture to evaporate out and then carefully applying several layers of clear packing tape to the surface. It is sealed like new and you can't see the tape. That has worked for 10 months and counting.

I did the same thing to mine and i knew i did it, so right after it happened i took it straight to the nearest parts store as fast as i could, i didnt want anyone to see it?
Being that they are glass and not Lexan this is going to happen to a lot of us. Try eBay for one or you may find a complete set. All else fails get an after-market set. I made Lexan covers for mine... I do not show my car, it is used daily.
That's pretty cool! I like it. Now you've got me curious... I've got the fog light overlays from bluebatmobile, but I'm thinking it would be neat to order another set of those, and fashion up a couple pieces of Lexan to slap those onto... hmm! *knock on my cheap particle board desk* but I'm still on both original fogs. They're pitted as heck, but no cracks yet. This may be a good idea to try out before they do get screwed up.

Thanks!!The Lexan has pits too so I know they have taken hits and seem to be paying off! Anything I can do to protect them. Wish they were Lexan already like 90% of the vehicles on the road are now!
I think I may try my luck at those things. *scratching my head about the glass thing* Last car I remember seeing which had glass fog lights from the factory was on a '90s Geo Storm... Give us Lexan already!

That's too funny. After I got hit by that firehydrant, my boss gave me a bandaid and he wrote "Vibe Repair Kit" on it for the hole in the bumper (removed)!

lol, you shoud have seen it. There were two firehydrants. The first was just sitting int he middle of the lane to distract me so I swerved and as soon as I thougt I was good to go, the second one jumped out of a tree and speared my rear bumper top first, then it rolled back into the woods to safety.
I installed aftermarket fogs because I couldn't bear to pay the GM prices, especially when I figured it would probably happen again sooner or later. Here's how I did it.I found after driving around a while I wanted to turn them through 90? so I made a 3/8" square spacer with a hole in it to fit the groove in the bumper.
