2nd Annual Matrix Fall Meet and Cruise 10/17/04

Post by greenfire »

From Matrixowners: http://www.matrixowners.com/mo...29713Quote »Ok guys, time to start planning our Big Fall meet. I'd like to see as many Matrixowners as possible make it to the meet. We decided to do it on a Sunday this time, so those that work Saturdays can make it out. The leaves should be turning colors by then, so you have a good reason to get those significant others to let you come (as in bring them along!) Heres some pics of the last meet we had in this location. http://www.matrixowners.com/mo...29198 2nd Annual Matrix Fall Meet and Cruise 1. The meet will begin at 12:00, Sunday October 17th at Anthony Wayne Rec area, exit 17 Pallisades Parkway. 2. If you have a "talkabout" radio please bring it. Channel 2.0 3. This time it will be bring your own food. There are some grills at this location if you want to BBQ 4. The cruise will be organized by Storm and begin around 2:30 and finish before 3:30. We will return to Anthony Wayne so people can get home from there or hang out. 5. Regular Park rules apply! NO alchohlic beverages, no ampified music and please help clean up. Everyone have fun! Directions and info here http://nysparks.state.ny.us/cg...p+150 If any Genvibers want to attend post up here and ill get you on the list. We had a great time last year and as always Vibe repesentation is needed.

I'm down as a "maybe" right now until I confirm my schedule. I had a good time at this event last year. Great scenery!

Ill get you guys down as maybies. It always impresses me to see long distance travelers. We are hoping for the same turnout as last year.As for food, it is "bring your own". However since the meet starts an hour later this year, it would allow time for "lunch pre-meet". Im sure Raginfish could help coordinate for hotels and such. (Hey Mike, you ever think of starting a travel agency?)

I'll scope out area hotels in case you guys come out...I promise, no Comfort Inn again. That place was trashy.

We are planning a Breakfast Pre-meet at I-HOP on Rt17. Starting at 10:00am. This will work out well for anyone staying at a hotel in that area.

Hope you guys had fun. Sorry about the confusion getting to the Go-Kart place. But I think it was worth it, they were fun. And also sorry about not doing the cruise through the park, too crowded I guess. Here some pics http://www.matrixowners.com/mo...31461

Yeah, we did have a great time! ... including some misadventures en route to the Go-Cart Track on the freeway (which will remain closed-book!) Always have a great time, even though Mike and I were the only Vibe representation, the Matrix group always welcomes us. Looking forward to the next one.

Raging, Great panorama. I tried the link to the large panorama on your website, but it is apparently broken (at this moment, anyway).
