Yow! Bundle up, that's cold! Glad she'll fire right up for you though. Now that I upgraded my battery to the 540CCA Delco, my car doing fine as well. No where near that cold, but have had a few mornings 15°F or lower, no problems.

Not everywhere in Canada! Was just watching the news from some small town in the Yukon: Minus 52 C. (-62F.) actual temperature, no wind chill included! So cold, they were leaving their cars plugged in all day AND running!

Our winters are quite cold in Northern Ontario ...our winters range from -15 degrees celcius to -42. This is our third winter with our Vibe AWD and I must admit that mechanicaly it performs as well as any other car in this type of condition. The block heater is ok but I had a remote starter installed which starts the car evry 4 hours for appro. 5 minutes. This allows the car to heat-up somewhat and recharge the battery. The only downfall with the cold are the tires...I find there is not much space for the snow the exit the wheelwell (because of the 16 inch wheels) and the steering on icy surfaces is terrible.

Here in Ohio we gladly traded our rain for the cold. On Tuesday eve late and early Wed a.m. watched my sewer drain carefully as it was about 1 inch from overflowing into the basement. No running any water (or flushing the toilet) for about 12 hours as it would have just ended up in the basement. Drank beer and p-----d in the sump pump well.

Here's one for all you guys in the southern U.S.

This is what happens to your Vibe in winter here in Canada (Ottawa). They dump tons of salt on the road. And yes, I'd washed it the week before. The same thing happens in Montreal, Buffalo N.Y. and any other northern city that has to deal with winter. Ottawa sucks because I've never seen so much salt spread around. Why the heck do I live here! So all of you guys in San Diego, Texas, Florida and the southern U.S., enjoy the sunshine. Salt and -27 C (cold, burrr, cold) I'm off to put a log on the fire and pay my gas bill.A

Yes,i know what you mean, until now my battery handle well, but after you start the car at the morning, inside is all in slow motion. When i open the radio,it take like few seconde to react, slow and hard. And,the suspension become hard,in little spot on the road, the car react like a big tank.

Yeah thats what my poor vibe looks like right now. Its so filthy. I haven't washed it in... oh 4 months, and only drive it twice a week in a good week. When I go to get my oil changed, they usually ask me if they can wash it "for free" because its so dirty. There is a method to my madness. Yesterday when I went to go to the gym, the car took 4 "chugs" I call them, before it turned over. Nothing was responsive. It was like power steering had disappeared and I had to crank the wheel. I wasn't even sure my signal lights were going, but they started blinking after a second or two.
