Just got my Vibe today. Been looking for a year, wanted to wait and let someone else take the big hit on it. Got a 2003 Abyss AWD car...all the toys...I came from http://www.g20.net, because I owned a 1993.5 G20 for the last 2 years....and a 1997 GMC Jimmy, decided it was time to get the Vibe....Cheers!

Welcome to the forums. We love pics here, so, whenever you have pics of your ride, post it up. And how did you like that the SR20 motor in the G20? Solid motor or did you have problems with it?Inder

http://www.ebizautos.com/wilso...Sport/Best Pics I have so far.I loved the SR20, although when I bought the car it had a very leaky headgasket, and I drove it for 18 months like that. Very Strong car, I just decided I wanted something newer, and I wanted to combine the best features of the G20, and the Jimmy. Welcome to the Encyclopedia of Vibe, and greetings from another Lebanon--Lebanon Indiana! What kind of tires are on the car? That's an interesting tread pattern!
My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.
Welcome and congrats on the new acquisition. You'll love the Vibe and this awesome group of friends and their info.

Dunlop SP Sport FM901. I picked them out about 6 weeks ago when the car was getting checklisted. I pick out ALL the tires that go on the used cars, and since this was a AWD car, this was my choice for the money. I would have prefered the Bridgestone G009's but they were about $25/tire cost, and since I had NO clue I would end up with the car, I saved the money.....I think they will do ok, but they are a bit loud right now. Here's the dope from tirerack on them,The SP Sport FM901 is Dunlop’s Ultra High Performance "summer" radial designed to blend sizzling appearance and performance for today's sports cars, coupes and sporty sedans. This also makes the SP Sport FM901 an ideal candidate for customizing vehicles by providing a look and size lineup that provides a wide range of "Plus Two" or "Plus Three" applications. On the outside, the SP Sport FM901's wide tread features large interlocking tread blocks that are aligned in a directional pattern to enhance dry traction and handling, increase wet traction and resist hydroplaning. Dunlop's "Chaos" tread block arrangement varies the size and shape of the tread blocks to help break up repetitive patterns and minimize noise levels. On the inside, the SP Sport FM901 features two steel belts reinforced by a spirally-wrapped JointLess Band (JLB) of nylon to support the tread area for high-speed durability and predictable handling while minimizing weight and improving ride uniformity. Additionally, a single strand of steel that is spirally-wound forms beads that are rounder for a better fit to the wheel and to further enhance handling and ride quality

It's been a busy week for the Vibe...Got my sunroof deflector on, got my shift interlock cover on, installed the frame plugs that were STILL in the glove box. Finally got a rear wiper blade...GM had them on nat'l backorder. Installing the rear bumper stays that I found broken to fix that rattle on the rear. Coming mods; Bright Yellow VVT-i overlay for the valve cover, GENVIBE decals, CF VIBE Badge overlays, and a CF rear hatch overlay all from Graphxwerks. Got HD Vinyl floormats ordered, plus splash guards & the rear bumper protector from GM. Going to get the Dunlop tires swapped for Bridgestone G009's next week. (The Dunlops SUCK in the rain!!!)

I need to get some b/c some idiot not paying attention while everyone was stopped rolled into the back. All it appears to have done was broken those stays and I need to replace them. Thanks!
