The vibes made in California come with an ejection lever. A little dial on the knob lets you select which seat: driver, passenger front ,etc. The canadian made vibes dont have this option though and.... this option only comes in the manual 5spd Vibe. good vibrations faultline

I thought all Vibes are made in California and the Matrix in Canada. I know my Vibe was made in California since I tracked my order from the build date on. I'm not sure what you are referring to.

You are correct lesterb, all Vibes are made in California at the NUMMI plant and all Matrices are made in Canada - Cambridge Ontario.

I didn't know that the Matrix was made in Canada. Anyone know why they do that? It seems like it would be easier to make it in one plant. Is the NUMMI plant a GM plant and the factory in Canada owned by Toyota?
