I got a new HP 3.2mp camerea for xmas. i took some pics the other day on my lunch break when it got up to 60 degrees!!! I had the camera on the wrong setting so excuse the blurriness of some of the pics.
Yeah right, if you use the flash the pics may come out darker if there is a lot of light. But if you turn the flash off then it doesn't focus and your pics will be right lighting-wise, but they may come out blurry if you don't hold perfectly still. They can be a real pain-in-the-(removed), but being able to see your pics and choose whether or not to keep them as well as be able to hold 500+ pics on 1 disk without changing rolls of film or having to get them developed is great!

HAHA idiot proof, yeah right. That's a good idea Sputnik. I got a tripod for my video camera a few years back maybe that wil work with my new one too!Damron I think you are right because I had to turnt eh flash off sice it made the pics really dark...kinda weird.
Digital cameras are great. The best thing about them is being able to play around with different camera settings, etc and not spend anything other than your time if they don't turn out. For a 3.2mp camera, something's off with your pics. I see the file size is VERY small, which is cool for dial-up'ers, but I think your editing software compressed them a little too much. I use PaintShop Pro, and after I get a pic off the camera, if I want to post it on a forum, or e-mail it, I'll reduce the image size to 640x480 (or whatever), then save it as a .jpg at 20% compression (different photo editing software may call it different), and it generally makes about a 65k file which is still pretty sharp. If I plan on printing a pic, I'll save it with no compression which makes a big file size, but sharper prints. Here's an 85k size file taken with my old 2mp camera:Play around with it. You'll have a blast.
I used paint to resize the pics to 25% of normal size. They were huge when I first posted them...too big to see on here My computer is too old and slow to download any fancy paintshop programs.
yeah I found my night pics were not the best with the delay speeds unless I set the camera on something. Whats cool is doing night shots of a street with a steady camera. Everything is clear but the car lights are all blurred.awsome pics though, I like the very first one.

I think you have the same version of camera that i have only i have the 407 the 4.1 MP dose yours have a night shot setting for the flash....Mine dose and i got a great shoot in a pitch dark room..... It lets the exposure go a hair longer so the back light gives better contrast.also the button on that camera has a focus hold push the button only half way and the camera will hold its auto focus...I have also found it best to take the picture at the best resolution then to use the software for the compression...Fun Stuff!! Keep Playing the pics will only get better No money wasted on bad film just delete and try again
I think I'm FINALLY getting a digital camera here in a couple days! That means I gotta go wash Stella and make her all pretty so I can finally get some pictures up here for you guys! She doesn't look nearly as cool as most Vibes on here but she's MINE!
Good. I loooove taking pics. I allways try and find cool places to take pics on my lunch breaks and stuff. All Vibes look cool by teh way Except maybe one I saw...it was lava and had a bad tint job, with that ugly chrome trip around the doors and those chrome "balla" hub caps lol the only exception.
Not a CLUE what "balla" hub caps are. but I'm sure you will enlighten me. I've learned a LOT on this website! My boyfriend laughs at all the car techie terms I throw around now. I don't know what half of them mean, but I sound good!
Not nessicarily "spinna" hub caps but they are the small ugly chrome ones that either look like little rezor blades or they have a brake rotor imitation attatched onto the hubcap.Atleast you are trying to learn car terms, it's really hard to get girls interested into cars. I wish I could find a car girl lol. Deep inside your boyfriend is probably jumping with joy that you're starting to get into it! My friends slowely teaching his g/f about turbos and superchargers and stuff lol.
