Post by bud_one »

Has anyone put an aftermarket header on the base 1ZZFE motor? Was there any notable difference?

Not sure if they have been installed but I remember a thread somewhere around here about headers for the Vibe. I dont know where the thread is at but here is the link for the headers http://store.racerwheel.org/d42-thc4402.html

Hey, Bud_one, This is the link to the thread. I posted about this header a bit ago. http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=13369I don't know anyone who has it, but from what I heard, you have to relocate your o2 sensor.Inder

I saw gains of aprx 20% with a custom intake, DC header, Magnaflow cat, and Magnaflow cat-back. I was around 140whp before I added my grounding kit. Now, I'm around 145whp.

Hey Doc, is it known for sure yet if DC Sport is selling a base Vibe header WITH the O2 sensor provision? (Also, have you had a bung welded into yours, or are you doing without?) A good muffler shop could put one in almost anywhere near the front of the system, as long as the harness would reach...)

Does anyone know how good the JP Header is? I would also like to buy the JP Mid-pipe as well.Inder

The JP header and mid-pipe combo is great, especially with the mods you already have. It's also 100% bolt-on, and the header has the bung for the O2 sensor, so no CEL.

Do you know what site has that? I can't find it anywhere. I've tried to search for JP performance and JP parts. I couldn't find anything. I went on MO.com and they just had a GB that ended a while ago. I would love to get that.Inder
