Depth, depth... Uhh.. That's a bit hard. I know I have a pair of Polk MM6's in the front..and those're wicked deep...I also gutted the factory speakers and used those as a trim ring, so...Nothing specific enough...I know I have a mm or 2 of clearance, though.

If you gut out the stock speaker and use it as a spacer, you can have a speaker with about a 2 5/16" mounting depth. (front only) Anything deeper, and it's going to hit the window when it's down.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=785The rears have greater depth, and spacers aren't needed.

Well i just got done ordering the 6.5" Infinity Reference 6002i speakers for the front doors from Crutchfield. I also bought an Aiwa CDC-X504MP head unit to replace the stock one. I check the length of the speaker and it should fit and i also saw where some of the members have already installed these speakers in their vibes with no problem. Thank god for Crutchfield. I love how they include everything you need to install it and I got free shipping on my order. I'm glad I found genvibe too or else I would be lost. My order should come in Friday and I can't wait. Driving without my iPod and listening to stock speakers are killing me. I would also like to give a shoutout to Cohocarl for the great installation pictures that I have and will use.
