I wasn't tallking about the petition. I was wondering if anyone actually took any of that info to a manufacturer and tried to actually get it done. If not maybe I can with the connections our shop has with many of the manufacturers. I just didn't want to do it if someone else already tried.

I don't think anyone has contacted anyone, either. But if someone would, and someone actually made them, I'd be very grateful. I've wanted them since I got the car.

I contacted APC and a few other companies about 6 months ago, and all basically told me "no." I don't understand??? I gave them some threads from genvibe, but they still didn't think there was enough of a need for them. 500 variations for a Civic are apparently needed, but ONE style for the Vibe is out of the question? Dumb...

Call me old fashioned, but I hate all these clear & chrome tailights. They were really cool when they first showed up, but now they're old hat. Every Civic owner under the age of 30 thinks it's a must-have, so they're everywhere. When you start seeing '82 Chevy pickups with clear tail lights, you know the fad has gone too far. (I have, BTW, seen several of those old trucks with Euro lights, and it looks ridiculous.)

I'd rather see someone make a red vinyl kit for the tails.
