I dunno about anyone else but I like belonging to groups. It makes me feel special HAHA! So I am going to start a Michigan Vibe club and a general car club as well. The Vibe club will be called "MI VIBE". When you say it out loud it sounds like you are saying MY VIBE, but you spell my with an MI for Michigan...get it? My step brother works for a vinyl shop and he makes vinyls and decals for alot of the cars at the IAS at Cobo. He could make the logos for us to put on the 3rd rear window. I am drawing up a couple designs for the logo, I will post them when they are finished. If any of you are interested let me know. Only requirement is to put the logo on the car somewhere. Of course we will be going to all the Vibes meets around here to!The other club I'm most likely starting in the spring is just a general club for me and my friends called REAPER Performance Enthusiasts. So far we've got an '86 Hurst Olds, 2001 Civic, Olds Alero, and Saturn SL2.
Not yet, I will try again tomorow...looks like the logo for the Vibe club will be a back angled outline of the Vibe fading and the text MI VIBE in te front somewhere... I wil show my step brother the idea and see what he thinks. His wife just had a baby so he's probably really busy and tired sooo patience

Yeah. I talked to Paul (Merzbow). He said it would be like 4-5". So, it's not gonna be that big at all. It will be big enough for the back side windows, aka the mini windows.Inder

I hit a firehydrant last night.Yeah the vinyl will be about 4-6 inches in length. i have a couple designs that will look awsome I just need my step brother to draw one of them up for me so you can see how it looks.
stil bein a lazy (removed). 32 hours of work this week plus christmas and all that b/s...after Sunday I'm good to try out all my new tools and sh*t I got for Christmas so I'll draw up some final coppes of the logo Monday. Sorry for sliding it off lol.
Ok this isn't the actual logo but this is simply a design I threw togather to give you a general idea of what I'm thinking...Now, in this simulated logo, the Vibe is in color and is a real pic. IN THE LOGO HOWEVER, the Vibe will be only outlined in white...the major curves of the car will be outlined as oposed to filled in. The inside of the car will just be clear to see through to the window...you get what I'm tryin to say? Anyways here are two ideas let me know of any changes or suggestions you have in mind. Obviously the Vibe's not going to be crooked either so don't even think about raggin me for that
#2I was also thinking of maybe placing the text over the top of the Vibe, though I can't make one like that because the Vibe is not just the oultine I was talking about so it wouldn't look right...
I would be interested also.New to the Vibe scene though. Only had the car for two days. I see lots of fun in the future with it though. Just hope my wife dosen't figure out how much fun to drive it is. (It is supposed to be her car...)ChrisLansing (actually Holt) MI

Wonderful! That's 8 members so far. Wasn't expecting that many So I will forward my idea to my step brother and get a quote to see how much they would be to make. His wife just had a baby and they just bought a new house so he is really busy, I apologize for the time delay. One thing though. Give me more feedback. Should I keep the "Michigan Vibe Enthusiasts" part in there or just take it out and leave in "MI VIBES". Should I completely redesign it or what. You guys are the ones that are going to have the sticker on your cars so let me know what you think!Since we have a nice amount of people interested, if we are all truely comitted, we could go to car shows as a group and get some widespread attention. There are car shows at Gibralter trade center and they give away trophies I believe for each class entered into teh contests. I gues we will wait and see once the logos get printed out. I'm thinking when the logos do get printed out and given to me we should have a group meet sometime at the end of winter or in spring to distribute the logos and put them on and discuss any events we want to attend. I am seriously comitted to this if you are all willing to participate too I mean, I understand alot of you live farther away so we will try to set things up that would be convenient for everyone...we'll figure it all out when the time comes. Right now I'll just worry about the vinyls.
I'd be interested in joining also. I'll watch for more info!!! Like the preliminary logos also. Jeff

You say the logo's too wordy Desi? What if I replaced "Michigan Vibe Enthusiasts" with just "Vibes of Michigan" or "Michigan Vibes"(which in essanse is repeating itself) or maybe "Vibe Club" What do you think?

No one wants to have a "paragraph" as a window sticker.

I agree. Something simple like MI Vibes. I also feel that "Motor City" may be used a little too much. Plus most of the people that replied back as being interested are not in the Motor City area.Just my opinion...ChrisLansing, MI

Step brother is coming over for a Halo tourney this Saturday so I will talk to him them for sure. Even if we don't have the logos yet I will be setting up a meet in early March for the people who want to be in the official club. We can get some ideas togather on what we'd like to do as far as entering into car shows or going to different events.
Ok, so I have received word through my dad that my step brother has gotten my emails but he hasn't responded yet!!!!!! I'm getting irritated...hopefully soon we wil have some decals and get things rollin.
