Spoliers for $257 shipped and PAINTED!

Post by Psychobroker »

Yes, you read that right. I've been in communication with Omar at Direct Sales & Design, Inc. in Florida, and they're able to offer either the mid-gate or top spoiler for $257 shipped & painted. They do have a package for both, but I was only interested in the mid-gate. I first found them on eBay in a package: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT (seller ID: directcartoys, 99.9%/1,723 feedback rating!)After discussing with Omar over the past few days, he's advised me of the following:1) Their spoilers are exact factory replicas, since they made their molds from GM's.2) They use base & clearcoat; refer to http://www.paintscratch.com for your paint code, and make sure to reference it in your order3) Place orders and pose questions to Omar at oferna1012@aol.com; they accept Paypal payments using this i.d. as well. FYI, Omar has been nothing short of stellar in his reply times. He's answered all my questions within ~30 minutes of my email to him.4) They even sell these spoilers to new car dealers5) They will try to keep the prices as-is for as long as possible, hopefully for a year. The initial price was $249 + s/h, so he's knocked it down a tad for us.6) Contact info:Omar FernandezDirect Sales & Design, Inc.1107 NE 9th Ave.Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304954-522-5477954-525-5207 FaxI haven't ordered mine yet, but that's only because I am in the middle of moving into a new place and moving costs (esp having to buy new things) suck. Even so, I'll pull the trigger within the next 2 weeks, after I settle in and update all my contacts/paypal with my new address. However, Jason (damronj) has called them and I believe will be placing an order shortly. Either way, we'll let you know how they turn out. Here's a pic of their spoilers...as you can see, they do look identical to GM's:Cheers!

Thanks. I think it's an awesome deal...nearly $100 cheaper than Gmpartsdirect.com...AND they come already painted. So, easily $200-$250 cheaper in overall cost.

These guys are probably the ones who messed up the CF wings we were suposed to have for SEMA. They made molds of the GM wings alright, off MY wings.

We can't confirm nor deny they are the ones. They say it wasn't them, but not for sure. This is still a good buy. Probably can't beat this price most anywhere, especially already being painted. Go for it!!

Thanks, Chris. I ordered and got mine within 2 weeks. Paint was close, not quite sure if perfect. Some say it seems like it might be a shade too black for the Satellite. Either way, it looks great, fits great, and is a great price compared to ordering them through GM (like $100 more at least!). I highly recommend getting it through them!

Awsome, thanks Maybe if I get more than a 15 cent raise I can start saving. How hard is it to install.

Let's just say it wasn't as easy as it seems. Line up spoiler, drill 4 holes, put 4 screws. Lining it up and drilling the holes was easy. Putting 4 screws was like pulling an angry alligators teeth! 2 are not so bad, fairly easy to get to. The other 2 are still missing screws until hopefully tomorrow! They are all the way out toward the edge of the gate and you have to drill another hole (lining up by eyeball mind you!) through the inner side of the gate to get to the screws that you have to try to get in there through the factory holes in the gate. Let's just say I will take pics tomorrow if we finish the job as I hope we will. 2 screws are holding, but I plan to put the other 2 and use lock-tight to keep them in there, especially after putting the 10JLW7 back there!
