I'm VERY disappointed in the December incentives for the Vibe in the Western region. They were better in November. I thought GM wanted to move some cars this month!

However, I want a deal and a lot of rebates and my $3600 GM card money. On 11/30 I walked from a 2004 AWD Vibe deal where the dealer was selling at invoice and giving me the holdback plus $4k ($2k GM, $1K GMAC, $1k conquest) in GM incentives. I rolled the dice that things would get better for me this month. Looks like I lost.BTW, I walked because he wanted to add $576 in regional advertising plus $300 dealer handling.
The $576 in regional advertising sounds high - it should be on the invoice. If he showed me that I guess I would have accepted it since he was also giving up his hold-back. Of course this is a 2004 and you never know what kind of "secret" dealer incentives he might be getting for selling the 2004's. The $300 in dealer handling is another matter - was that the typical document fees? In some states/areas, that is the norm. On CarMax.com I think I have seen this at $295 at some of their locations.

The regional adv fee was on the invoice on 2 line items $288 per line. He claimed that there are 2 charges to total $576.As far as the DH. All dealers I have been to in the Denver metro area have this charge ranging from $299 to $499. Nothing more than ADP.
