Im pretty this poll has been done before, but Im new so I get to screw of on my first 5 posts. Then I'll play nice.I pay $365/m with full coverage. 4 points, Black car, in the city, and under 25. Thats $4380 year im losing. Oh did I mention I have ZERO accidents. (I did get $525 ticket once)If you pay every 3-6 months just pan it out over 12 months, or what you pay a year
Holy crud! When I got the Vibe last year, in Jersey, with full coverage, I was paying $1,016 for a Red Vibe GT. When I moved to GA, Allstate wanted another $200, and Geico wanted $850 for six months. Now that I'm married, under 25, i'm paying $404 every six months.

Can I ask what you did to get a $525 ticket? Here in Tennessee, to get that, you'd practically have to knock off a convenience store, then go 300 mph in a 30 mph zone, to get a ticket that high.
Well Maryland, DC, and Virginia are some of the worst states to own a car. I live in Maryland and there is a lot of drug trafficing on the eastern shore. Because of this there are a lot of cop traps. Most of them are obvious but when I got the $525 ticket it was the first time I had gone to ocean city (on the eastern shore) so I had never been that deep into the eastern shore. How I got the ticket? I was going 75 in a 35 mph zone. The cops in cambridge are a-holes. There is a bridge that leads into cambridge and the speed limit is 65 on the bridge. I naturally cruise around 75-80, but as soon as you get of the bridge, not even maybe a city block the speed limit drops to 35mph. This how f'd up this ticket was. I had time to stop not only at one light, BUT TWO before the cop had even turn his lights on. That was my first 2 points on my license. The second two happened this past june heading up i-95 coming into Baltimore. 80 in a 55. But I paid that one. Also I have heard that there was a speed limiter on the P Vibe. I have a friend who has one of those diagnosis handhelds read my computer and it showed my top speed at 122mph. When I go to work in the morning Im going at least 110 because there are no cops on the highway I take at 5:30 in the morning. It does seem like there is a limiter on there though because I can only accelerate to 110 but I had to hit some declines to gain some more speed. The vibe gets up but it aint no speed demon.
Ouch, man!!!!! I don't know what we pay, but with house, full coverage on a late 90's truck and liability on a early 90's acclaim and the vibe it is well under $300 a month. We used to pay 2x a year but after we added the house we decided to go monthly. My agent said my reate will only go up like $4/mo with the new car (4 years newer). We use State Farm, no one can touch their rate for us, but we've been with them since hubby was 16 so that might be why. Good Luck, and I would say, maybe shop arround. You might have to bite the bullet untill you get the points dropped.2004 frosty, base, moon and tunes and XM.
Well I was suppose to fax my last semesters grades in to verify i graduated to the car insurance company... But right now I pay $110 a month for full coverage. I did have it at $70 a month last year but some engineering classes kicked my (removed) and took off the good student discount.

$189/month $500 Deductible... and 1 $2,000 claim (I was paying ~160 before that claim)I can't wait 'til I'm 25 tho, they told me it should go down when I hit 23
I assume the poll was just asking what we pay for the Vibe. I pay about $40/month for my neww 2007 Vibe. This is after shopping around and talking my current insurance carrier down. I'm ~30, married, live just outside the city border and have no tickets but I've actually had a couple not at fault accidents in the past few years. I'm surprised I pay so little.
I pay $84 CDN so that what $5 US. Just don't talk to me about what I pay for the boss's 04 Cav, since she rolled the first one and rear ended a minivan with the second. My truck $32/month CDN

$550/year - but any dollar amount means nothing without knowing all of the background. Deductibes; coverage limits; age; area; miles to work - less than 3 = pleasure only rate; discounts for things like ABS, multiple cars, homeowners and car with same company, etc.
