So I saw this white Vibe with a body kit in the parking lot across the street from work yesterday. It took me a minute to figure out why this Vibe had a sharp crease in the middle of the hood. Even stranger was the fact that it had a Mitsubishi logo where the Pontiac arrowhead would go.After I figured out that this Vibe was, in fact, a 2005 Lancer, I started wondering why they had to go copy Pontiac on the front end of their car. Now my car isn't quite as unique-looking any more. In my own little world this is all quite amusing. But maybe that's the alcohol.

Mitsubishi's idea of developing a new vehicle is hacking design aspects of other vehicles on the market already and seeing what they come up wtih...It's a wonder why they're at risk of going under...

Just looked at Mitsu's website, and you are right, they do have a very similar look to the 03 and 04 Vibe front grill area! The Lancer post is a little bit wider toward the bottom, but the grill openings look almost identical!

Have you seen the parody for Pimp My Ride? It's a commerical for the Corolla XRS. This chick wins the Pimp My Ride contest and she goes to the shop and sees that her old beat up mustang now has 4-doors, a CD players, manual and it looks sooo good. LOL. I love that commerical.Inder
