I want to run another amplifier off of the M&T amp under the passenger seat to power subs. I plan to run new power and ground wires, but I wanted to use the remote and audio input wires from the radio from the wires that run into the M&T amp. Anyone know which wires these are and if this is possible? I don't see how it would be a problem, but maybe someone knows something I don't.Oh, BTW, I tried looking through the other threads regarding this, but couldn't seem to come up with the information I was looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I'm gathering from the schematics that all of the wires that are "audio inputs" are essentially the same as the RCA's from the back of an aftermarket HU? If this is the case, is it possible to run these wires to an aftermarket amp since they only have RCA input plugs?

check out this thread http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=13072 jahntassa gave me the heads up on how to do it. hope this helps. I just spliced in to the rear speaker wires with the converter he is talking about
Yeah, it's still a speaker-level signal going to the M&T amp I believe. It's just that the amp and the stereo talk to each other, so the M&T amp can handle the power input. Makes it cheaper to not make specially designed radios..
