Sirius Satellite Radio

hey everyone, my girlfriend got me sirius radio for Christmas, does anyone have it yet, and where did they install the reciever? I know it comes with the car attachment, but where can we put it? Any help would be great!

I put the antenna on the side of the roof almost by the rack. Then ran the wire down the weather srip of the hatch. then under the seats to the unit. Was very easy.

I went with XM, but here's my setup:Receiver:Antenna:
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

Mike, did you just run the antenna into the other (oem) antenna? And how did you do it?

Since he's not around, i'll try to answer! He took the headliner down, unscrewed the base of the factory antenna, and using a dremel, cut a little notch at the base of the factory antenna. He then ran the XM antenna through said notch, sealed it all up with silicone sealant on the inside of the roof, and put the headliner back up.

I actually put the sealeant on the exterior...gooed some on the base of the stock antenna base, and let it pus out when I pushed the base back into place...Just wipe up the excess, and a perfect seal!
