Falken Tires

Post by Tango »

Just had Falken Tires installed on my vibe. They were much less $$$ than Michelin, Continental or Goodyear. Great looking aggressive tread. I paid $102.50 each. That included mounting, balance and tire disposal. Anyone else have these tires on their Vibe.

ZE 512 91V. I tried talking the dealer into going to a lower rated speed tire. But, no dice. He will only put on the same as he takes off. It's a liability issue.

I ran 225/50ZR/16 Falken FK 451's this summer and they were amazing tires. Great in the rain and impossible to break loose cornering at any speed I tried and believe me I tried every day. I got 30,000 miles out of them driving them hard on a twisty highway commuting 150 miles per day. They seemed to handle the best with 42 psi. They were terrifying in the snow the 2 times I got caught though. I am going to buy another set in the spring or perhaps Sumitomo HTR+.

I was shocked to see that Falken Tires are made by Sumitomo.
