T-Mobile Users, Please Help Me

hey guys, i need someone that is a t-mobile user in the us. i bought one of their phones for use in canada, but they sent it locked :@ , and the only way to unlock it is if a customer of theirs, with 90+ days account asks for the unlock code for the phone. if anyone can help me please please reply. thanks.

actually it came new in box unactivated , even have t-mobile sim card ... useless though lol

i am in canada, i cannot sign up for the service, and they wont unlock the phone if i am not a customer.

Who is going to be your service provider then? And will the Canadian service provider allow you to use the t-mobile phone?

i am with Rogers GSM , so all i have to do is get any unlocked gsm phone, stick my rogers sim card in there and boom, all working. but the t-mobile phone is locked, so it will only accept the t-mobile sim card. i need it unlocked so i can use it here in canada on Rogers. -- i hope its clear now

yup, they are ok with unlocking it for people that have been with them 90+ days, but nothing for anyone else. please if you know anyone on t-mobile help me out hehe. all they have to do is email the t-mobile simlock department, with my phones serial # [IMEI number) and t-mobile well send the unlock code. i read on several forums that this is the only way to unlock this phone, and t-mobile doesnt check if the phone is on any account, just types the IMEI number in their computer and generates the code.

would be great to tell me "oh ya i got this friend on t-mobile" LOL . but seriously if you, or anyone knows someone on t-mobile, or is on t-mobile! hehe , please help me out, right now my phone is a dud, completly useless untill unlock :S
