Amplifier wiring 6 speakers - need some advice

Post by SlappyMcHappy »

Well, looks like I blew out my M&T amp that is located uner the front passenger seat. If I wanted to replace this, I suppose I would get a 4-channel amplifier. I have 2 door speakers and 2 satelite tweeters up front, and 2 door speakers in the back. How would you hook these speakers to a 4-channel amp? I mean, front left and front right, rear left and rear right would take all 4 channels. How do you hook the tweeters up? Would you just run them from the head unit?

Umm. I have my M & T amp if would like to buy that. Save you a big headache of rewiring the harness. I had to do this. That sucked beyond belief.Inder

You can use another wiring harness/radio kit to half the amount of wiring under the seat when replacing the M & T with another amp. You use the wiring harness/plug from the same kit you use for the radio. That is the way mine was done.
