Winter tires - Hankook ICEBAR W300 high performance winter tire

Post by dutchman_1997 »

I bought these tires from Discount Tire Direct. The tires have silica compound and look like a good buy for $75/each. I went with 4 tires for winter and ordered them online and had them delievered in three days all for $300. Has anyone else out there tried these tires?? I am interested in learning how they wear. I believe them to be great tires for winter traction but don't know how they will wear. Anyone got any info? Thanks,

sorry not sure which ones i have. i do have hancook winter radials, but i've only driven on them for one season, plus they are studded. i would guestimate it's a good 10K miles i've got on them so far.... and they look pretty good.

so far my hancooks are going well w/ the exception of extreme ice. the little 4 banger engine just isn't heavy enough to really grip the road! lol
