Injen CAI question.

Post by Celtic_Curse »

HEy everyone...searching for this but couldn't find the info. Does anyone know what the diameter is on the Injen CAI I'm going to be buying a new filter and need to know what the diameter is. The Flter I'm buying comes with a heat shield and haven't got a clue what diameter the pipe is. Any help would be appreciated.

When I ordered a replacement filter for my Injen CAI from PTuning, the default filter that they recommend is the PTX-1013 which is for a 2.75" Mouth. This is for a Base model Vibe CAI. The GT model Vibe CAI also states a 2.75" Mouth.I was unable to find any other specs on the diameter and I forgot to measure when I had the filter off a couple months ago.Hope that helps.

Thank you very much, I'm going to buy a new one then slip it on then recharge the second one for the next filter change.

You don't need to have two of them... it doesn't take long to recharge a filter. I have a kit you can use.
