Halo 2 anyone?

Post by Pablo1669 »

So is anyone else as excited as I am for Halo 2's release coming next tuesday (11/09)??I have been waiting for ever it feels like. I can't wait. I pre-bought it, so I just have to go pick it up Monday at midnight. I doubt I'll be going to work on Tuesday

I cannot wait, it's almost 2 years late, but if it's as good as it looks, it's worth the wait.

I'm also ready for NFSU2 to be released. For everybody else that is anxious for the release, EAGames has released a playable PC demo version of the game at http://www.eagames.com/officia...loads#

Its funny that everyone that plays Ghost Recon say Halo 2 online sucks. Everyone complains about havin to shoot 500 (more like 30 rounds) rounds into a person to kill them. Everyone that plays Rainbow Six says its the best game ever. I personnaly have not played it but if it takes that many rounds to kill someone its not that good........ As far as playing it offline I heard its good. Any one else have opinions?

One of my coworkers here bought Halo 2 and returned it within a few hours. He said the same thing, that the online play sucks and that is all he wanted it for.

So you are saying that other games out there that are war simulated dont include some kind of armor like a bullet proof vest? There is little armor that can save you from a bullet to the head.

you got Halo 2?I don't know if I should or shouldn't be dissapointed with the ending. I won't spoil it though for anyone who is playing it.Even though this thread quickly turned into "games I'd rather play instead"

Played at a friends...one thing that was really annoying:co-op mode splits the screen vertically, not horizontally like the original Halo. You can't see anything around you!Is there a way to change it to split horizontally? we couldn't figure it out...

Check somewhere in the options menu, I'm sure it's there.

What? He must think that b/c he sucked at it online...just my opinion, because online play ROCKS. Has he tried team skirmish and clan wars? oh man, too much fun -- if you know what you're doing..To whomever complained about too many shots to kill: If you've ever played Halo, you'd know that a shield comes standard, with the potential for doubling it if you find an overshield (rare). At least it's consistent for all players. I'm sure the guy whining that it takes too many shots to kill someone didn't complain about being able to evade someone who pumped him 10 rounds full of bullets w/o dying.Trust me when I say there's plenty of ways to kill someone with one shot:1) stick someone with a plasma grenade2) head shots (sniper rifles)3) assasinate (creep up behind someone and use melee)4) energy swordIt's a fun, fast-paced, UNREALISTIC game, not to be compared with the realistic "shooters" such as Ghost Recon, Rainow Six, etc.
