How easily do your dollies roll and swivel, Tool Guy? They look just like the ones I saw at Costco (~$CAN32.00/pair, 3" steel wheels). I suggested my buddy try them, because he really needs the space. The set he got elsewhere practically herniated him when he tried to move a 2500 lb. Alfa Romeo on them, so he took them back.

Well MadBill, you hit it on the head! They do not move that easy or not as easy as you think! I was warned by a friend who has a 1969 Mustang. My car is over 4000 lbs and his was even heavier. I could not push on the body because you know what would happen, I would crack the F-glass. My wife and I pushed it and she was sick at the time, we had to push from the rims only. This was after I backed it into the corner best I could. They are probably what you saw at Costco, I am not sure the wheel size but they are metal and I got them at Murrays autoparts $100 for all four, your price is better obviously. I think in the spring I will oil the casters and bearings maybe it will help. However they did their job for me now at least. I even thought about soaping the floor with liquid dish soap first, an old tow truck trick to get cars on flat beds while still in park.

Boy I wish I could or even go higher in the garage for an above ground lift, but in both cases I just do not have the room. Three car IS the way to go and I noticed lots of subs now have three per house. You will someday...

I always thought it would be cool to have an underground garage. You could have a hydrolic lift to get out. It would be similar to the sidewalk elevators. Looks good though. Tell me you put a cover over the corvette in the winter...

You are not the first to ask me, I would be a bad owner if it was not!
