Looking for info on power locks

Hi gang....bought my Vibe a year ago, second hand. Love the vehicle but...it doesn't have the remote/power locks option installed. I was wondering if there are any kits available out there to do my own installation or is it something that has do be done by the dealer or am I simply stuck and can't get it done anywhere?Any info would be greatly appreciated.

at http://www.matrixvibe.net/foru...=5466, vatanner said that the kit avaiilable from http://www.a1electric.com/Merc...RF104worked well, about $130, an installation guide at http://a1electric.com/cablelock.htm The cable type locks on these cars makes some power lock kits a pain to install, supposedly this one is designed for a cable lock setup, but I haven't tried it so can't say first hand.and welcome to GenVibe!

Hi joatmon...thank you very much for the info and welcome. I went to the page yousuggested and it looks like something I'm looking for - great!!I just hope shipping of this thing to Canada won't cost an arm and a leg.thanks again!!
