If I read the charts in the SCC mag on their project matrix, the big break kit they installed only did slightly better than the stock set up. Aside from looking better through the rim I didn't see anything in their results that would warrent coughing up that kind of cash!

I bought the base Vibe. Is it possible to fit the brakes off of a GT up to the Base Vibe's rear wheels? Is there any improvements over the base Vibe's rear drums. I was thinking about trying to find a wrecked Vibe GT or Matrix XRS and poaching those parts. Any thoughts?

The big break kit should help out the base since the brums are in the rear. But with that being said, 70% of your stopping power comes from the front.
