Bomz on Base?

Will the Bomz short intake work of the bast vibe. It seems to be advertised to only the GT.

Sure will not work. The GT is slightly different. If you want something that's fairly cheap but good, get the Cosmo Racing intake. They run about 70 bucks. So, yeah.here's the site for cosmo:http://www.cosmoracing.comInder

Thanks for the info. Do you recomend the full CAI over the short one? I see you are using Ingens. What makes the ingen worth the extra 100 bucks. I am concerned with filtration quality- does the ingen offer better filtration? I've also read a lot of peple with GT's say they love the sound these things offer as a side bennifit. Does the base sound good too. Thanks again

Yeah. The Injen or even the AEM is the best bang for the buck. I wouldn't recommend the Cosmo since it may have a faulty filter. Meaning a cheap filter. I am definitely happy with the results of my Injen CAI system. It sounda and performs great. As long as you don't go through water like this:you will be fine. And no, that is not me in the picture. Thanks, I'll check them out. If I put a better filter (k&N or other if poss.) on the cosmo would I still be better off with the AEM or Ingen and why. If so, what's better AEM or Ingen?

The Cosmo filter is just fine, I have one. Other than the colour it appears to be almost identical to K&N. I know because I have a K&N FIPK on my truck. If you buy a K&N replacement filter, the Cosmo will still be cheaper than an Injen or AEM.
