Transfer case and rear differential

Post by felixthecat »

We bought a used 2004 Vibe and I was looking at the maintenance schedule, and noticed the transfer case and rear diff. oil was due for changing. My car is front wheel drive. Does the front wheel drives have a transfer case? Sorry to sound like and idiot but I'm not to familiar with the Vibe, can anyone help me out?

the transfer case and rear differential are only part of the all wheel drive (AWD) model. How many miles are on your Vibe, what color/options on it, and welcome to GenVibe!

Welcome and not an idiot question. Joatmon is right, AWD only. At least you are reading the manual! Do that and your Vibe will give you lots of trouble free miles.

There are 24,000 miles on our Vibe, has cd player, power windows and locks,205/55r/16 tires. Its just like the one pictured on the GENVIBE disscusion forum page only white.
