I thought this thread would be about the Flymo It's an Electrolux line of gas and electric wheel-less lawn mowers that operate on the hovercraft principle. Apparently they're not sold in the US, probably something to do with the trial lawyer's association. I used to work at a golf course about 4 years ago. I was a grounds-keeper and we demoed some of these hovering mowers. They work really, really well. I'm sure there are some still sold in the US, but you probably need some certification to use one or something.
