i will post some pics soon i have made moulded shell still have to put the front in waiting for my sub to arrive before i cut the holecalculates out at .71 cubic ft minus the sub.the best thing is no box in the cargo area and the rear floor panel still opens without having to take your sub box out

Awsome I wanna build one too, but I probably wont have the time or money any time soon. Plus, my mother would have a fit (removed).My friend WAS building one in his Suzuki Esteem until today he got rear ended and the car got f'ed up, and so did him and his g/f...fortunately the subs and amps weren't in the car at the time.I also thin Kevin (Freestyle) is building one I want to see both of yours when you are finished!!

my mom has an 05 with the sub mounted in the rear hatch man i want to make a box like that. Is that what your going to do or are doing ?

mine is moulded to the wheel well similar to the 05 i will post some pics this weekend it is still a work in progress

Now I wanna make a fiberglass box lol...I'm just afraid to sacrrifice the god sound quality of my box for a good look.

I molded mine in to the wheel well but make sure you sound deaden it heavily.

what did you do to sound deaden it?some one told me the shape of the box doesn't matter as much as if you are in spec for volume?

You want to put the Alpine 10" Type-R in there? It's a great looking box, but if i'm eyeballing it right, you're gonne need a little more depth than that. Type-S would definitely fit, though..

it is within spec for volume and i have just a bit to spare on the depthit is an experiment if it doesnt sound good i will build one bigger but i was trying to avoid losing hatch space and having to take it out when we go on trips
